MKFM Review: Cosy Club Milton Keynes

The MKFM team were invited down to Cosy Club in centre:MK to enjoy a team lunch, here is their review...

When the MKFM team were invited to review the Cosy Club in centre:mk for lunch we were absolutely delighted as our office are big fans of the restaurant, well known for their tasty food and cocktails.

Cosy Club has an outside entrance which makes it easily accessible to walk straight in after parking the car - always helpful if you're short for time on your lunch break.

We were greeted and seated, and as we already knew what we were ordering (who else loves to look at the restaurant menu before going out for a meal?!) we had our drinks and orders through within 10 minutes of arrival.

    Drinks

Cosy club has an extensive drinks menu, and we opted for a mixture of cocktails, prosecco and a healthy green juice. We also noticed they serve a variety of matcha drinks, which is a massive bonus as we are an office of matcha lovers and there aren't many places in MK that serve a good matcha. Cosy Club MK are ahead of the game!

    Starters

We opted for a selection of starters, and ordered off the Brunch menu.

Our choice of starters were the Garlic Prawns with paprika butter, garlic aioli, parsley, and lemon on toasted sourdough - the paprika butter and garlic aioli soaked through the sourdough giving the most incredible flavours!

    Mains

This was followed by freshly smashed avocado, with tomato, chilli, lime juice and also on sourdough with a delightful extra of halloumi. Just enough for a tasty lunch packed full of flavour.

The other two orders were from their lunch menu. The Cosy Club sandwich was a great size including toasted sourdough, herb chicken, smoked streaky bacon, egg mayo, gem lettuce, tomato, and a side of fries - perfect for a filling lunch!

Our last dish was the Sesame salmon, and this did not disappoint! With tamari & ginger teriyaki noodles, sugar snaps, red pepper, sesame, chilli, lime, the colourful plate and fragrant smells had our mouths watering before we even started!

    Dessert

Ok, we know we said this was only meant to be a quick lunch but there's a separate stomach for pudding isn't there?! We are still dreaming about the Luscious lemon posset with fresh raspberries and white chocolate - it was decadent whilst still refreshing, perfect spring pud! Followed up with an Apple Tarte chaser with vanilla pod ice cream, salted caramel, honeycomb - total heaven!

All of our food and drinks were served and devoured in one and a half hours, making it a perfect place to pop for a catch-up lunch with friends, family or colleagues. Cosy by name, cosy by nature - the atmosphere provided the perfect ambiance for our lunchtime catch-up, we will definitely be back!
