As division and racism continue to challenge communities globally, Milton Keynes is choosing a different path—one of respect, joy, and celebration of multiculturalism.
Linked Events Ltd is proud to announce the inaugural Milton Keynes Multicultural Excellence Awards, taking place on January 11, 2025, at Unity Place, Santander Bank, from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
This groundbreaking event aims to honour individuals, businesses, and organizations that reflect the vibrant diversity of Milton Keynes. It will spotlight excellence across various sectors, celebrate allies and supporters of multiculturalism, and acknowledge young people excelling in academics and activities from diverse backgrounds.
CEO of Linked Events Ltd, Nana Oguntola, shares the vision: “Difference is not a problem, as nature itself shows. The real challenge lies in how we relate to that difference. Through these awards, we aim to celebrate the contributions and achievements of our multicultural communities while encouraging unity and mutual respect.”

The awards will recognize achievements across a range of categories, including:
· Charity of the Year
· Diversity and Inclusion Champion

A Legacy of Excellence
The Milton Keynes Multicultural Excellence Awards builds on the success of the Black Excellence Awards held earlier this year, which highlighted the achievements of the city’s Black community. The expansion of the awards reflects Milton Keynes’ status as a multicultural hub, where nearly 40% of the population belongs to diverse communities.
Join us to celebrate diversity, honour excellence, and recognize the positive contributions that enrich our city.
