Vehicle Crash Repairs celebrates a successes first year in Tongwell.
As part of VCR’s expansion last year, Managing Director and owner Rob Clark set some ambitious challenges for the vehicle crash repair centre and the team and has accomplished many of them already within the first year moving into its 34,000 sq ft site - six times the size of its previous location.
In one of the toughest years the crash repair industry has seen, VCR has continued to drive the business forward with a 100% pass rate for its very first BS10125 audit - the BSI Kitemark for vehicle damage repair which is accepted by automotive manufacturers and insurance companies. The kitemark supports body shops in adopting best practices for repairing vehicles.
VCR has also become Buckinghamshire’s largest PAS2060 carbon neutral repairer and was nominated for a national award at the Greener Bodyshop Awards for its efforts to become carbon neutral as well as reaching the finals for the Industry Innovation Awards as an Independent repairer.
The team at VCR has celebrated growth and length of service - recruiting new experienced technicians and vehicle assessors as well as seeing its first ever team member achieve 10-years at the company.
