Re-shop & Re-use: Good for your pocket and good for the planet!
Ikea’s Re-shop & Re-use, online and in-store, offers a special selection of products ready for a brand-new life. When you purchase from Re-shop & Re-use, you also help to reduce waste!
The products available at Re-shop & Re-use arrive here in a variety of ways, including:
-
Discontinued products that are in perfect condition but are no longer sold in-store
-
Pre-loved products from Ikea’s Buyback service
-
Display products from Ikea’s Showroom that have been used to inspire customers.
-
Items from failed or returned deliveries where the packaging may be damaged, but the item is in great condition
-
Returned products that are checked and deemed suitable for resale
-
Some furniture might have a few cosmetic imperfections, but everything is functional and safe to use.
Rather than scrap these items, the Re-shop & Re-use team check them and sell them at a reduced price so customers can enjoy a bargain, and the store produces less waste, which is better for the environment.
The condition of the products at Re-shop and Re-use vary, so every item is individually priced, and customers receive the product as it's described and at a fair price. Whether it's in its original packaging or fully assembled, customers purchase the product “as-is”. All products available from Re-Shop and Re-Use are also returnable, which is useful if that ex-display, bargain wardrobe you purchased is slightly too big (!) and Re-Shop & Re-Use items are also covered by Ikea’s generous returns policy.
Customers can also browse Re-shop & Re-use Online from home – this additional stock includes bargain flat-packed items as well as smaller items from Ikea’s Market Hall ranges. Customers reserve their discounted item online and then have 48-hours to visit Re-shop & Re-use in store to collect and pay for it. If customers change their minds, Re-shop & Re-Use Online reservations cancel after 48-hours and the item goes back on sale in the Online shop.
So, make sure you check out the Re-shop and Re-use area next time you visit the Milton Keynes store – you’ll find it at the end of the store, near aisle 46, just before you go through the tills – we can’t wait to welcome you!
