Biztech Tech Talk - Is the revolutionary world of the Internet of Things sustainable?

Did you know? There are now more connected devices in the IoT than people in the world! Technology has truly revolutionised how we live, work, and connect with others.

The Internet of Things (IoT), for instance, is one of the most popular areas of tech that has transformed how we interact with the world. It is a network of objects and devices which communicate and share information with others over the Internet. From monitoring our health and fitness and checking the heating bills to seeing who is at your door while away, everything involves smart technology and IoT. Even in business, manufacturing, agriculture, and retail, IoT applications and connected smart devices provide us with the data to spot trends, optimise processes and manage supply chains all in real time. But despite all their benefits, they still have a significant impact on global warming and climate change. Here’s your chance to hear from an experienced electronics engineering consultant about the environmental impact of IoT and smart devices. Register for FREE for Biztech’s next tech talk on “Is The Revolutionary World Of The Internet Of Things Sustainable?” by Lawrence Archard, CEO of Factoree. The event will be held on Thursday, the 14th of September, between 17:30-19:00 at MK:U Innovation Hub, Bouverie House, 200 Silbury Blvd, Milton Keynes MK6 4HY.
