The brand new resort is set to open in Manchester.

It has been announced that the UK's first ever all-season indoor beach is set to open around 2025 with construction beginning next year.

Located in Trafford City, the £250 million resort will be the size of 19 football pitches, at 28-acres, and it is set to become 'one of three all season water-based destinations in the world.'

According to developers, Therme Manchester will be home to 25+ pools, 35+ waterslides, 30+ saunas and steam rooms, urban farms and beehives and 1,500+ biodiverse trees.

There will also be an exclusive adults-only area with swim-up bars and therapeutic baths, offering guests a perfect place to relax.

Stelian Iacob, senior vice president of Therme Group Worldwide and CEO of Therme Group UK, said in a statement: “The Covid period gave us the opportunity to update the design of Therme Manchester to create an even more sustainable, engaging and accessible experience with profound health and wellbeing benefits for all. We will continue to work with the Manchester community as we progress with the design and development.”

MKFM heard from Therme Group who told us there will be Therme destinations in other parts of the country, but there are no designs for them as yet.
