SPAR recalls Chicken and Prawn paella because of undeclared allergens

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has announced that SPAR is recalling its Chicken and Prawn paella because of undeclared allergens.

There is a possibility that the product contains fish, molluscs, milk and wheat (gluten), which are not mentioned on the label.

A statement on the FSA's website says: "This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to fish, and/or molluscs, and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, and/or to wheat (gluten)."

The 600g packs with the best before date 13 October 2021 have been affected.

Those who have purchased one of the packs are advised not to eat it, but to return it to their local SPAR store for a full refund.
