Bags of sugar from shops like Sainsbury's, Iceland and Poundland have been recalled by the Food Standards Agency, as small pieces of metal may be found within them.
Tereos UK is making the recall, which covers a number of different brands and pack sizes.
If you have bought any of the affected products, do not eat them. Instead, return the product to the store from where they were purchased for a full refund.
Food Standards Agency officials have said that the presence of metal makes these products unsafe to eat and presents a safety risk.
