Are you looking to keep fit, spend time outdoors and meet some new friends? Maybe you used to play hockey at school and feel like picking up a stick again. Hockey could be the sport for you!
Milton Keynes Hockey Club has been part of the community since 1961, offering adults and juniors the opportunity to enjoy a varying standard of competitive sport and an active social calendar.
The Club runs 5 Mens and 4 Ladies teams in the adult sections. They compete in Leagues across the South-East of England and games are played on a Saturday from September to April with breaks for half-term holidays and Christmas.
Their home ground is located at Woughton-on-the-Green where they have two AstroTurf pitches and a clubhouse with changing facilities and a bar to meet in after matches. Men’s Training takes place on a Wednesday night at Woughton from 7.30pm until 9.30pm and Women’s on a Tuesday 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
Junior hockey is available to children up to age 16. The club trains on Sunday mornings from 10am with matches taking places throughout the season. Many of our junior players have represented their county and play in adult teams on Saturdays.
Milton Keynes is home to a Summer League that runs from May until July. Games happen on midweek evenings with 15 teams travelling from surrounding towns to take part in 3 leagues that cover all ability levels.
