The Electric Vehicle Experience Centre, based in centre:mk, have increased the included miles for each experience to provide a greater insight into driving and living with electric and plug-in vehicles.
The EV Experiences have been a huge success over the past few years and the Electric Vehicle Experience Centre are looking to shake things up a little bit.
Visitors to the centre not only travel from the surrounding areas but from all over the country to come and see the EV gurus and experience cars.
Electric vehicles have made vast improvements since the centre first opened in summer 2017, with vehicle ranges doubling, due to battery and software improvements.
As a result of this, the team have decided to increase the included miles for each experience (experiences include a set amount of travel miles, if exceeded, there is a charge of 25p per mile), this means instead of receiving 50 miles per day, experiences will come with 100 miles per day.
Yes, that’s right - Double the amount of miles for the same price!
For example, when you book a 2-day, 1 night experience, it will come with 200 miles, this gets you from Milton Keynes, to Stafford and back and if you book an 8 day, 7 night experience, it comes with 800 miles that will take you from Milton Keynes to Edinburgh and back.
