Mrs. D what's to see? Mrs. D from the MK Breakfast Show was back at MK Theatre last night (30/05) to watch Cluedo and here is her review...
Who Dunnit?
That was the question on everyone’s lips last night at Milton Keynes Theatre as the play of the famous board game Cluedo came to the city.
Michelle Collins (Cindy Beale from Eastenders) took centre stage playing the glamourous Miss Scarlett. She was joined by the rest of the characters from the game, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Miss Peacock and Mrs White.
This play was full of twists and turns, and I mean that literally they twisted and turned throughout the evening making full use of the stage. It really had you guessing “Who killed Mr Boddy?” that night in Boddy Manor, but then there was not one, not 2, not even 3 murders but 5! 5 murders to try and solve that famous question...Who Dunnit.
Cludeo was brought to us by the director of “The Play That Goes Wrong” which meant that we were in for a laugh. The cast had the audience laughing from start to finish. They were all were great but there were some fantastic performances from Tom Babbage who portrayed Reverend Green, Judith Amsenga playing Mrs Peacock and Laura Kirman who played Yvette the not so French Maid. But the star of the show was Jean-Luke Worrell who played Wadsworth, the butler who led the characters through this murderous tale to reveal what happened during that night and eventually “Who Dunnit”.
If you want to see some light-hearted humour and spend a couple of hours laughing nonstop, then this is the play for you. It’s an easy watch that will have you in stitches. Cluedo will be at Milton Keynes Theatre until Saturday 24th June.
