Launch of PSG Football Academy and Sixth Open Evening at Lord Grey Academy

Lord Grey Academy's 6th form opening evening takes place on Thursday 19th January 5.30-7.30pm.

The school's new partnership with Paris St Germain football academy offers an exciting opportunity for students to combine the level 3 accelerated pathway at KS5 with playing football the Parisian way.

"We have very strong vocational results, last year our best ever A level results and we have  a dedicated and experienced sixth form team who work closely with each student to reach their personal goals and maximise their potential," the school says.

The evening will consist of talks from the Head of Sixth and Associate Principal, tours of the subjects and facilities as well as meeting its PSG partners.

Lord Grey Sixth Form offers opportunities for young people to excel outside of the curriculum by offering some unique extracurricular activities. We offer a curriculum that meets the needs and strengths of our students . We work with local schools, the Institute of Technology and now our PSG partners.

OFSTED stated in May 2022: “Due to this culture of learning, more and more students stay on for the sixth form .

Staff work hard to make sure that students go to whichever provider is right for

them and their aspirations.  This is typical of the moral focus of leaders: they want the best for each pupil in the school. Across the school , careers information, education, advice and guidance is planned and delivered successfully”
