Film Academy Milton Keynes has announced its NPA Level 5 Award in Film and Media will be starting 22nd January 2024.
National Progression Award in Film and Media at SCQF Level 5; the focus of which is practical activity carried out in a creative context.
You will work as part of a team in the planning and implementation of a creative project and will learn how to
- Work with others and contribute to the production of a plan for a creative project
- Contribute to the implementation of a creative project
- Review the completed project and your contribution to it
The Award offers a wide range of optional units to meet your needs and provides bite-sized chucks of learning that are straightforward for learners to study
Why study this qualification?
The NPA in Film and Media at SCQF Level 5 is suitable for learners who are at school or who may have just left school, at sixth form level (16-19), as well as anyone over the age of 16 who wishes to learn more about the industry, or be involved in the industry. The Award has been designed to offer you an introduction to the film and media sectors, practical experience of developing a creative project and delivering your project
No previous qualifications and/or experience is necessary to complete the award. The can be used to progress to the National Progression Award in Film and Media at SCQF Level 6 and the National Certificate in Creative Industries at SCQF Level 6
The cost of this qualification is £3,100, which can be paid in instalments, in halves or all at once, and is completed part time, lasting one year. It contains six learning hours a week, and students can select AM or PM sessions, whichever they prefer. It contains a mixture of face to face sessions and online zoom sessions.
