Fancy jumping in PUDDLES for Cancer Research UK? Here's how.

A unique fundraising campaign has been started for Cancer Research UK, ahead of World Cancer Day next week.

The idea comes from Susie Campanella’s campaign of ‘Jumping in puddles for cancer’ in support of her friend, Gary, who has terminal cancer.

On hearing Gary’s news, Susie knew she wanted to do something to brighten his day and bought him a pair of wellies with the poster, ‘When it rains too hard, go jump in puddles’ and Gary did exactly that.

After seeing the photos, Susie’s campaign idea was born, and Cancer Research UK want you to make a splash too and help get to the £1m target!

Next Thursday (4/2) marks World Cancer Day, a day that unites people, communities and entire countries to raise awareness for Cancer and take action.

This years theme is ‘I Am and I Will’, which encourages fundraising despite the current pandemic.

The ask for the challenge is simple – round up your household, get your wellies on and jump in a puddle for Cancer Research UK.

Then, upload your picture to social media using #JumpInForCancer, tag 3 friends and to donate to the fundraising page here.

Of course, it's important to observe social distancing guidelines if you do take part.

Make a splash for our pioneering research and help us raise £1m!
