Nine years ago, car fanatic Rob Clark took his love for motors and turned it into a thriving business success for Milton Keynes. From a young age, Rob had entrepreneurial qualities, gaining experience in the sales industry and investing into other business start-ups. As a self-starter with a curious mind, the confessed petrol head took it upon himself to learn a new skill in repairing cars by working with another body-shop to learn the trade.
Gaining confidence in restoring vehicles to their original state, at the age of 28, Rob took the plunge to begin Scuff N Scratch Solutions.
The business started with Rob carrying out small repair work at people’s homes, spending days in the cold and snow to ensure repairs were completed to the highest standard. Rob’s reputation as a trusted repairer quickly grew and he moved into a workshop in Milton Keynes. With a clear sense of direction and employing car technicians, within a year the business outgrew the first premises and moved into the current workshop, based in Denbigh Hall Industrial Estate which has accelerated the business forward.
Investing in the correct equipment and training to carry out insurance crash repairs, Scuff N Scratch Solutions is recognised by the National Body Repair Association and Approved Code Trading Standards. As an approved car body-shop by insurance providers, the team at Scuff N Scratch will liaise the insurance company directly, taking away the hassle for customers.
Sticking to his core values of delivering high-quality service, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, Rob has taken his business from one man and his van to an insurance approved accident repair body-shop with an exceptional reputation with customers and local car dealerships.
