MKFM REVIEW: Cinderella at Milton Keynes Theatre

Rupert from the MKFM Street Team went to see Cinderella at Milton Keynes Theatre and here is his review...

I went to watch Cinderella at Milton Keynes Theatre and wow, it did not disappoint!

From the opening musical sequence, the standard was set high for vocal and dancing performance.

The production was truly west end-level high throughout the performance, engaging and entertaining the audience. Each dance felt different and refreshing throughout and nothing felt repetitive through out the 2 hour show, which is another credit for this pantomime!

The 2 hours flew by, which as a massive film, tv and theatre fanatic is the best thing. This gave credit to the entertainment level of the show as it seemed to fly by and not have a dull moment in the show.

The comedy was also perfectly executed with jokes flowing through out and Brian Conley's performance was outstanding - having me and my family in stitches the whole time.

As well as me and my family, the audience around me was also laughing immensely with Brian Conley doing a brilliant job at leading the comedy through out.

Another 2 actors who deserve credit are the ugly step sisters who where a brilliant antagonist but also providing a lot of the comedy for the show (second to Brian).

The only thing missing from the show was the 12 days of Christmas sequence which  most Milton Keynes pantomime goers which infamously know.

However, due to the rest of the show being so entertaining, I guess we can let that go and put it on our Christmas list to return for next year!

If you haven’t seen this show yet then you need to get your tickets, Oh yes you should!!! and go see this hilarious, and well crafted pantomime.

There's still plenty of time to see the show, with performances on until Sun 14 Jan 2024.
