Milton Keynes based charity on the hunt for new recruits

    The Parks Trust are the self-financing charity that looks after 25% of Milton Keynes’ green space which includes parkland, woods, lakes and river valleys. The charity employs over 70 people in a variety of roles including; Landscaping, Finance, Property, Environmental, Marketing, Outdoor Learning, Events, as well as a dedicated team who run their watersports and activities at Willen Lake. 

    The Trust is now advertising for five different roles within their Landscaping and Operations team including; a Trainee Tractor Driver, a Landscape Maintenance and Forestry Trainee, Hard and Ground Works Trainee, Landscape Maintenance Supervisor and Hard and Ground Works Team Supervisor. 

    For their trainee roles within the landscaping team, The Parks Trust are looking for individuals who have an interest in the landscape or forestry industry, who are enthusiastic and fast learners with a willingness to take on further training to enhance their skill level in horticulture. For the Supervisors roles, they are looking for people with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. 

    The Parks Trust also have another fantastic opportunity for a Parks Enforcement Officer to join their team. The role is part of a new Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) that has been entered into with Thames Valley Police. They are looking for an enthusiastic Park Enforcement Officer who enjoys working with people and who likes being outdoors, to patrol their parks and help keep park users safe.

    Furthermore, Willen Lake, Milton Keynes’ most popular park are looking at people to join their team. Roles currently available include; Receptionist and Administrator.
