    Role: Business Development Executive, Full-time Permanent

    Location: Milton Keynes

    Salary: Up to £30,000 + commission [Dependant on experience]

    Plumbing & Gas Solutions Ltd are part of the well-established PGS Group based in Milton Keynes, that has been supporting local businesses since 2010. We work with clients across all sectors, from education and healthcare to warehouses and commercial properties, in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

    Our experienced team provides thorough, reliable plumbing and heating work for our clients, by tackling jobs of all shapes and sizes – from boiler servicing and reactive repairs to full plant room installations.

    The Role

    This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our team, and help us continue to build upon the established brand and reputation that we have developed over the last decade.

    The successful candidate will be a major contributor to our team’s continued success, and growth. As a Business Development Executive, they will help to bring in new clients, while also supporting our loyal existing customers.

    There will be a balance between sales/outreach and project management and administrative duties, with the primary objective being to establish and maintain strong relationships with our key commercial clients.

    The ideal candidate will be motivated to generate new business, and will spend more time out of the office meeting and supporting existing and prospective clients than in it.

    Key Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will have the following skills and mindset:

    • Self-motivation and driven attitude is a must-have
    • Confident on the phone, with the ability to communicate clearly
    • Strong communicator through both internal and external calls
    • Demonstratable experience in business development, sales or customer services
    • Experience in the industry (or a similar one) would be very advantageous
    • Enjoys networking, meeting new people and building new business relationships
    • Capable of prospecting cold leads and accurately qualifying warm leads
    • Sales-driven and determined to create new opportunities for the company
    • Comfortable with basic IT skills
    • Full driving licence, with own transport, and willing to travel around Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas
    • The expectation is that the right candidate will be regularly away from the office on site visits, in client meetings, networking etc
