Three MK Dons staff members self-isolating

    Milton Keynes Dons have released a statement announcing that three members of their backroom staff are self-isolating, having come into contact with a positive COVID-19 case.

    The Dons' statement reads: "MK Dons can confirm that three members of the first-team staff are self-isolating following information received from the EFL on Thursday evening that they had all been in contact with a positive Covid-19 case."

    "In accordance with government Covid-19 guidelines and NHS track and trace rules, Assistant Manager Luke Williams, Goalkeeper Coach Dean Thornton and Head of Recruitment Liam Sweeting have taken immediate steps to self-isolate for the required period. None of them are experiencing any symptoms."

    "MK Dons have been advised that Manager Russell Martin, and the remainder of the backroom team and the first-team playing squad, are not required to self-isolate."

    "The FA have been consulted and both they and Sunday’s opponents, Eastleigh, have been advised of the protocols that are in place at the Football Club."
