Milton Keynes Dons have allowed defender Zak Jules to join Fleetwood Town on loan until the end of the season.
Reports had emerged earlier this week linking Jules with a move away from Stadium MK, and now the Dons have made his loan move to The Cod Army official.
The 24-year-old former Scotland Under-21 international joined the Dons last January from League Two side Walsall, making 20 league appearances before the end of the season under then-manager Russell Martin.
With Dean Lewington playing far beyond his years, Jules' time has been limited under new head coach Liam Manning, with just 12 total appearances - his last league appearance coming against Crewe Alexandra back in October.
Now, Jules will have the chance to play important minutes at the fellow League One side, something which Manning himself is pleased about.
Speaking of Jules' loan man, Manning commented: "I can't speak highly enough of Zak’s character but he has not played the football he has wanted to."
"We want to support him in terms of his development plan and what he needs to do to progress."
He added: "We feel getting games at this level will help with that. I think is something that will definitely benefit him and the Club."
