Milton Keynes Dons' trip to Rochdale this Saturday (2nd January) has been postponed after the Greater Manchester club confirmed Covid-19 cases.
The Dale confirmed to the EFL that they are unable to fulfil their next two league fixtures, which included a home tie against Crewe Alexandria tomorrow, due to an outbreak of Covid-19 among both first-team players and coaches, all of whom are now required to self-isolate.
This means that the Dons will no longer travel to the Crown Oil Arena on Saturday, in what would have been their first fixture of 2021.
This postponement, which will be investigated per EFL regulations, means the Dons now have four consecutive away games before their first home fixture of the new year, giving Russell Martin's side some additional breathing room.
A rescheduled date for the fixture will be announced at a later date by both clubs.
