The club is currently in the process of trialling a new dedicated fan area, specifically for MK Dons Fans.
‘Club Bar’ and the relocated Young Dons Zone will open for the Doncaster game on 7th March, then at each home game until the end of the 2019/20 season.
The area will be open from 12:00-2:45 and for an hour after the final whistle – bar only.
What can supporters expect?
- Bar area showing the early kick-off fixture on TV
- Food outlet selling pies, hotdogs, burgers and confectionery
- Bigger Young Dons Zone – away from the bar area
- Area to watch the players warm up from the Upper Concourse
- MK Dons branding and memorabilia
Where is Club Bar?
The area will be accessed through Gate 5 upper concourse, Overlooking KFC.
What time does it open?
The area will be open from 12noon until 2:45pm. The bar area will reopen for an hour after the final whistle.
Do you need a match ticket to get in?
Yes, only supporters with a valid matchday home ticket will be able to use this facility.
Are away fans able to use the area?
No, this area is for MK Dons fans only.
How do I get to my seat for Kick-Off?
Supporters will be able to use Gate 5 to enter the stadium, just head down the stairs or use the lift to the lower concourse.
Is the area fully accessible?
There is a lift to and from the upper tier, disabled bathrooms and a viewing platform for disabled fans to watch the players warm-up.
Is the area suitable for Children?
YES! The Young Dons Zone is trialling a permanent move to this area. All of the normal activities will be available, along with Young Dons badge collection and Player visits. New activities will also be introduced in the coming weeks. Young children (under 13) must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Is the Young Dons Zone on the lower concourse closed?
Yes. All Young Dons activity will be moved to the new area in Upper Gate 5.
What about Red Dot Bar, will that be open?
Red Dot Bar will be closed pre and post-game. The new Club Bar in the upper concourse will be open pre and post every game without exception if the area is supported and used.
Is there a dress code?
Absolutely not! Wear your club colours with pride.
Can I bring food from outside into the area?
Hot food from places such as McDonalds and KFC won’t be allowed in the area.
Will it be cold?
We will be using portable heaters to heat the area, however, as this space benefits from direct access to the outside upper tier, we would suggest you wrap up, at least till it gets a little warmer.
Next Steps
Your assistance is needed to get this space secured as a permanent home for MK Dons fans. If supporters enjoy using the facility, we will look at making changes and additions to the area over the closed season ready for the 2020/21 campaign. We’ll also give it a suitable name!
This is where you (the fans) come in. Your help is needed to:
- Support the area by coming and using the facility
- Spread the word amongst your friends and fellow Dons fans that sit around you
- Provide us with honest feedback – good and bad
- Think of a possible name for the area, if it becomes permanent!
We hope you can join us from 12noon Saturday 7th March – MK Dons v Doncaster.
