Aidan Nesbitt has left MK Dons by mutual consent, bringing his 18-month spell with the club to an end.
The 21-year-old Scottish winger originally joined the club from Celtic on the last day of the summer transfer window back in 2017, with the Dons under the charge of then-manager Robbie Neilson.
The former Scotland Under-21 international originally signed two-year deal with the Dons, going on to make 27 appearances in all competitions during the team's 2017/18 League One campaign.
Since Paul Tisdale was hired after the club was relegated to the fourth tier, Nesbitt has failed to break into the first-team on a permanent basis - earning just two appearances against Peterborough United and Luton Town in the Checkatrade Trophy.
In a statement on MK Dons' official website, the club stated: "The Club would like to thank Aidan for his contribution and wish him every success in the future."
With Nesbitt turning 22 this February, there will be plenty of opportunities for him to get back into professional football and a return to Scotland could be on the cards.
