In a conversation with TalkRADIO about freedom day, Milton Keynes MP addressed lockdown restrictions being eased.

Yesterday (13/7), Ben Everitt, MP for Milton Keynes North, spoke to talkRADIO where he addressed 'Freedom Day'.

As Monday 19th July approaches and 'normal life' is just around the corner, MP Ben Everitt discussed his take on what is to happen next.

When asked why Boris Johnson has stopped using the word irreversible, MP Ben Everitt responded that it is still irreversible and that we can not afford to go back into another lockdown again. He said: "We have all but had enough."

When discussing the next steps, Ben said "We've had a global pandemic and we are where we are, but we are coming through it and now it is up to the public to take that responsibility to act on their responsibility and self consciousness and behave in a way to make sure we don't ever have to do a lockdown again."

He also used the interview as a chance to remind the public that if they are offered a COVID-19 booster vaccine to take it along with a flu vaccine.
