Milton Keynes Breakers to face Oakland Wolves in NBL Division 2 clash

MK Breakers will be looking to make it three league wins in as many weeks this Sunday as they travel to Hertfordshire to face Oaklands Wolves.

The Breakers enter Sunday’s encounter having recorded NBL Division 2 wins over Cobham Cobras and Ipswich Basketball respectively. Their only defeat of the league campaign came against Team Solent Kestrels.

Oaklands are yet to pick up a win in their NBL Division 2 campaign. They opened their campaign with a 95-79 defeat to London Stars before suffering a 77-65 defeat at the hands of NASSA.

Oakland Wolves narrowly avoided relegation from NBL Division 2 last season as they survived the drop by two points. Head Coach Dodi Butor will be looking to turn his team’s fortunes around, starting this weekend against MK Breakers.

The Breakers Head Coach, Billy Beddow, will be pleased with his side’s performance last time out against Ipswich Basketball. The two outfits traded the lead a number of times in the opening quarter, before the Breakers pulled away in the second running out to a 94-71 victory.

Jordan Spencer (24), Blayne Freckleton (16). Luke Gregory (14), Andre Arissol (12) and Mike New Jr (10), all hit double figures, once again showcasing the Breakers depth and ability to score points across the roster.
