Milton Keynes Breakers return to NBL Division 2 Action this weekend

MK Breakers will be looking to put last Saturday's NBL Division 2 defeat behind them as they welcome Cobham Cobras to Bletchley Leisure Centre this Saturday.

The Breakers were in action twice last weekend and tasted mixed fortunes, they were beaten 87-80 by Team Solent Kestrels on Saturday evening, before overcoming Essex Charge the following night 152-39.

Cobham Cobras have played just one NBL Division 2 fixture this season, losing 93-83 to Westminster Warriors in their opening game of the campaign. Last weekend saw them face London Thunder in the National Cup - a fixture they won 89-74.

Like Breakers, Cobham were promoted from NBL Division 3 last season as they won the South Division - losing just once on their way to the title.

Head Coach Billy Beddow sat down earlier this week to preview Saturday's clash at Bletchley Leisure Centre and is aware of the tough test that the London outfit will present.

Beddow would be pleased with his sides scoring in the win over Essex Charge with Jordan Spencer (43), Leon Henry (21), and Chris Tawiah (20) all scoring high in the National Cup.
