YMCA youth clubs coming soon to Milton Keynes

Thanks to funding from The Million Hours Fund, YMCA Milton Keynes are proud to announce the introduction of YMCA Youth Clubs!

Contradictory to popular belief, youth work is so much more than playing ping pong.

There is an urgent need to see a return to regular youth work sessions in the local community that provide opportunities for young people to develop their emotional and social skills in a safe physical environment with adults they respect and trust.

"Young people need somewhere to go, a place that’s positive. That’s what’s been missing all this time." - Sophia, 16

YMCA MK will be delivering 6 youth work sessions weekly, across 3 venues, delivered by experienced youth workers to young people between 11 and 18.

Youth Clubs will be offered at the following locations:

The Third Unit, YMCA Campus, MK9 2NR - Held every Thursday (during term time)

The Frank Moran Centre, MK3 6PA - Held every Tuesday (during term time)

Shenley Brook End Community Centre, MK5 7HH - Held every Wednesday (during term time)

They will run at the times stated below for each age group:
