Xscape Milton Keynes was forced to close earlier following reports of a suspicious device in the building.
Police officers attended the scene just after 8.30am today (23/9) and following a thorough investigation they have concluded that no such device was present.
The building has since re-opened as normal.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of communicating false information and possession of a bladed article. He remains in police custody.
Rumours were circulating on social media regarding the incident earlier, which has now been confirmed by Thames Valley Police.
My mum has booked us this indoor skydiving experience at this place called xscape. We turned up and the building is on lockdown because some man is inside with a knife and a bomb. So my sister goes ahah isn’t ironic how it’s called escape. What an idiot๐๐
