Milton Keynes Cyclones moved up to 5th in the British Dodgeball Association (BDA) National League 2 as they aim to get promoted in their first year in the competition.
It was a much improved team performance as they convincingly beat Hartlepool Mavericks 33-3 when they met at St George’s Park on Sunday. The victory means that the Cyclones, with their attacking style of play, have a record of 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses from their 6 games.
The Cyclones’ 2nd team were unlucky, narrowly losing to 2nd place Bewdley’s Virtue Empire 14-8, then, again, losing 15-9 to Leicester Minotaurs after being ahead in both games. The defeats leave them in 8th place in the league, with one win from their six games.
Currently, MK Cyclones train on a Wednesday evening at Cottesloe Sports Hall, Woughton Campus, Leadenhall. They are always looking for new talent and anybody interested in coming along to training can e-mail mkcyclones@hotmail.com for more information or visit www.facebook.com/miltonkeynesdodgeball
