Local charity, Willen Hospice is marking the final weeks of trade at its Grafton Gate shop by offering a 75% off sale.
Customers will have an opportunity to stock up on essential clothing, homeware, gifts and furniture at a fraction of high street prices.
Associate Director of Commercial, Mark Rawlins said “I would like to thank everyone who supported us at Grafton Gate. Even though this store is closing, we have our new shop at The Point in Central Milton Keynes, offering the same wide range of stock plus a coffee shop coming soon. We’re delighted to invite our customers to visit us there.”
Thanks to the generosity of the Grafton Gate landlord, the premises have given Willen Hospice a way to recuperate some of the financial losses they faced when shops closed during Covid. Over the past two years it has given the charity an opportunity to resell donated goods to raise funds, and provide jobs and volunteering positions to the local community.
Mark adds: “Any stock that remains after the sale will be relocated to our new shop at The Point where we will continue to offer our extended range of pre-loved fashion at affordable prices, starting as low as £1 per item. Proceeds will go towards supporting the specialist care that Willen Hospice delivers to patients and their families. I’m pleased to say that our staff and volunteers are being redeployed to other shops.”
Willen Hospice has confirmed a closing date of 12th November, with the 75% off sale continuing, while stocks last. Donations will be accepted at Grafton Gate until 5th November, after which supporters are requested to drop donations off at other Willen Hospice shops or make an appointment to drop items off at the Kiln Farm Distribution Centre.
