When will waste collections take place in Milton Keynes over the Jubilee bank holiday?

To celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, an extended bank holiday is being held from 2nd - 5th June 2022.

This year, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate seventy years of service, with a Platinum Jubilee.

There will be an extended bank holiday from Thrusday 2nd - Sunday 5th June 2022, with lots of celebrations planned for MK residents to mark this historic milestone.

Ahead of the bank holiday, MK Council is reminding residents to put their bins out as normal.

There are no longer changes to collection days due to Bank Holidays, with the exception of Christmas and New Year.

If your collection day falls on a Bank Holiday, you can now put out your rubbish and recycling out as you would on a usual collection day.

Due to the Jubilee celebrations, some road closures will also be in place across the city. You can find out if you will be affected here: Which roads will be closed in Milton Keynes across the Bank Holiday?
