What’s happening to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee in Milton Keynes on Sunday 5th June?

    These are the events taking place across Milton Keynes on Sunday 5th June to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

    This year, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate seventy years of service, with a Platinum Jubilee. An extended bank holiday is being held from 2nd - 5th June 2022 with lots of celebrations planned for MK residents to mark this historic milestone.

    What events are happening in MK on Sunday 5th June?

    • Jubilee Big Lunch Picnic at Hindhead Knoll, 12pm - 3pm

    • Milton Keynes Chorale - Crowning Glory - Milton Keynes Theatre, 7:30pm

    • Hanslope Big Lunch Street Party on the High Street 12pm - 6pm

    • Big lunch at Wolverton Recreational Ground, Stony Stratford 1pm - 5pm. 

    • Queens Platinum Jubilee Big Lunch at Leon Rec Park, 1pm – 6pm

    • Church Service at St Mary’s Church to commemorate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at 3pm.

    • Jubilee Celebration Day at Water Eaton Church Centre, Bletchley - community event including lunch,music, activities and afternoon tea 10:30am - 5pm more info https://stfrideswides.org/events

    • UK’s Strongest Man at Stadium MK 12pm – 1pm on Fri 3rd, Sat 4th and Sun 5th.
