Thames Valley Police issued a further update following the illegal encampment at Oakgrove School in Milton Keynes.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said 4 vehicles and 3 caravans were seized and 2 arrests were made following an operation to remove an illegal encampment at Oakgrove School.

It comes after students were forced to stay at home today (11/7) after travellers pitched up in around 30 caravans on the school site over the weekend.

During the process of moving the travellers on, A spokesperson for TVP said: “Officers have been liaising with the school and engaging with those on the encampment. A Section 60c notice to leave was issued to those in the encampment with a deadline of 11am this morning."

Due to the legal order not being complied with, officers were reportedly forced to remove the unauthorised encampment.
