Two people died following a collision on the A5 between Milton Keynes and Towcester last night (2/8).
At about 21:10, a collision between a grey BMW 3 Series and a blue Volkswagen ID4 took place between Potterspury and Paulerspury.
A 26-year-old man, who was the driver of the BMW, and his passenger, an 18-year-old woman, both sadly died at the scene.
As the incident took place just across the Northamptonshire border, officers from Northamptonshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are leading the investigation.
They are currently appealing for witnesses that may have witnessed the crash, or those that may have any CCTV/dashcam footage.
