
It has been today (18/3) confirmed that two people, both in their 90s, have died after testing positive for COVID-19.
A woman, aged 92, died on Saturday (14/3) and a man, in his 90s, died on Sunday (15/3).
Both patients had underlying health conditions. The patients are not related or connected to each other.
MK Hospital said: "Their families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them during what is undoubtedly a difficult and distressing time."
This is the third death at MK Hospital related to COVID-19. On March 5th, an 83-year-old man died after returning from a cruise.
