Earlier this morning (20/02) a serious accident occurred between a lorry and car that caused multiple lanes on the M1 to close.
Heavy traffic is beginning to build up on the M1 Southbound from J15, A45 (Northampton) to J14, A509 (Milton Keynes) after the accident happened just after 9am this morning.
Delays of 20-30 minutes are expected as two out of three lanes are closed near Newport Pagnell Services, where the crash was between a car and a lorry is believed to have taken place.
