Two footpaths closed in Milton Keynes due to fallen branches as Storm Ellen hits the city

Two sections of redway in Milton Keynes have been closed due to fallen branches as Storm Ellen hits the city.

Milton Keynes Council highway crews are currently carrying out emergency works to remove the fallen branches and re-open the paths.

Closures are currently in place on Footpath 21 between 116-118 Wolverton Road in Newport Pagnell, as well as a section of redway next to 8 Metcalfe Grove in Blakelands.

It is not yet known when the sections of redway will re-open.

Earlier today, the emergency highways crew from Milton Keynes Council cleared a fallen tree from a road in Kingston.
