TRAVEL: Severe delays on M1 southbound in Milton Keynes after truck overturns

Two lanes have been closed this morning after a truck overturned on the carriageway.

Lanes 1 and 2 are closed on the M1 southbound between Newport Pagnell services and J14.

Recovery officers are currently working at the scene, drivers are being warned to pass with caution.

UPDATE 08:12 - Severe delays up to 90 minutes are now present on the M1 southbound with 8 miles of congestion approaching lane restrictions between Newport Pagnell services and Junction 14.

It is not yet known if anybody has been injured.
