The M1 has been closed this afternoon after a lorry overturned on the carriageway.
A closure is in place between J16 at Daventry and J15A for Northampton Services on the southbound side.
Recovery and Highways England Traffic Officers are making their way to the scene, with some motorists currently stuck inside the closure area.
Traffic is currently queuing back to J17 for the M45 and Coventry.
Officials say they don't expect traffic to return to normal until around 6pm this evening.
