TRAVEL: Congestion on M1 near Milton Keynes due to broken down HGV

All lanes have now reopened but congestion may take time to clear.

A broken down HGV has been recovered from the M1 near Milton Keynes.

First reported at 3:00pm, 2 lanes of 3 closed on the M1 northbound between J14 Milton Keynes and J15 Northampton.

Luckily no accidents have been caused by this incident and traffic is now beginning to clear.
