TRAVEL: Broken down HGV causes havoc on busy Milton Keynes road

A broken down lorry is blocking the busy Buckingham Road junction with Newton Road in Bletchley.

Thames Valley Police's Roads Policing unit has reported a broken down lorry causing obstruction in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

The big HGV has broken down on the Buckingham Road junction with Newton Road, just ahead of the school pick up rush.

TVP are currently on the scene and ask residents to "Please avoid the area whilst we arrange recovery."

UPDATE 16:00- The road has now cleared and is back to normal.
