The Met Office are warning of strong winds in Milton Keynes on Friday as 'Storm Ellen' is set to hit the city.

Forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning between 4am and 6pm on Friday for Milton Keynes.

They are advising that the winds may lead to 'some travel disruption'.

Gusts in Milton Keynes are forecast to hit 46mph, with the peak happening at around 1pm.

Rain is also expected on Friday afternoon and into the evening in the city.

Elsewhere across the UK, Met Office officials are warning of wind speeds of up to 75mph.
