This follows the news that there is currently one empty unit left to let at MK1 Shopping and Leisure Park in Bletchley.
Outfit, which was home to various brands including Topshop and Burton, closed earlier this year leaving one large empty unit at the popular shopping destination.
And it has since been confirmed that this unit will be split into two, with Completely Property reporting that Superdrug will be acquiring one of the spaces.
This leaves one empty 10,000 sq ft unit available. And people have since been sharing their excitement hoping that one of their favourite brands will be coming to Bletchley. Here are the top suggestions so far...
Zara Home
Milton Keynes currently has one Zara store at the shopping centre intu, but it currently does not have a home department. Globally, the fashion chain is incredibly popular and has branched out into homeware including accessories, bedding, accent furniture, and rugs.
Dozens of people have shown their interest in the possibility of a Zara Home store opening in our city.
Matalan
Although there is already a Matalan store in Bletchley, residents have been questioning whether moving the store to MK1 would be a good call for the business.
Matalan is currently down Watling Street, close to Fenny Stratford, which some people say is "too stand alone" compared to other retail shops in the area.
Wilko
There are a few Wilko stores in Milton Keynes, including one in the Brunel Centre in Bletchley, but people are hoping that another will crop up at MK1.
Wilko is a large chain of stores that sells household items, kitchenware, garden and toiletry items at discounted prices.
B&M
Speaking of discounted stores, B&M is one of the fastest-growing variety retailers that sell anything and everything for discounted prices. They sell homeware, food, furniture, garden, and lots more.
Bletchley used to be home to a large B&M but this is now closed leaving two stores in Milton Keynes - one in Rooksley and one in Westcroft.
Homesense
This quality retailer is owned by TK Maxx and sells plenty of homeware and gift items at discounted prices, with the potential money savings going up in the hundreds.
There is currently one Homesense store at the Kingston Centre which has proved popular with shoppers.
An arcade
This suggestion is slightly different from the hundreds of others mentioned, as a few people would like to see an arcade (or similar) open at MK1.
MK1 is currently home to the local Odeon Cinema and a plethora of restaurants which leaves people saying that it "makes sense" to have some sort of entertainment complex on site.
Toy shop
Back in the day, Milton Keynes was home to plenty of toy shops including The Entertainer and Toys R Us. But now both of these stores have closed leaving people wanting another toy superstore to open.
MKFM will keep you updated with any further developments in this story.
