MKFM is thrilled to announce that Amelia Slaughter will be the new host of its popular drive-time show.
Amelia first joined MKFM in July 2021 as the presenter of the Early Weekend Breakfast Show and has since become one of Milton Keynes' most popular radio presenters. So, it seemed only natural that Amelia would be the perfect host to keep Milton Keynes company as they drive home every weekday from 4 pm.
Join Amelia and her feel-good energy for all the latest local info, traffic updates, and showbiz news—with plenty about Taylor Swift, from this self-confessed total fangirl!
MKFM is also delighted to announce that James Summers will be taking over the weekday afternoon show from 1 pm till 4 pm. If you’ve heard James on the early morning show, you’ll recognise his fabulous dry sense of humour and wonderfully entertaining view of the world.
The appointment of Amelia and James to these new shows is all part of the exciting changes happening at MKFM. These also include the appointment of Carly Whiles going full time in our sales department as our Account Manager.
So now MKFM is ready as it gears up for a genuinely exciting future with new owners, new presenters, and a new station sound—all coming together to make us a radio station Milton Keynes can be proud to call their own.
