The Parks Trust will be lighting up the Light Pyramid as part of Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Across the world, celebrations will be taking place between Thursday 2nd June and Sunday 4th June to commemorate 70 years of the Queen's service to her country.
At exactly 9:45pm, on Thursday 2nd June, at the same time as lightings all across the world in a spectacular display, The Parks trust will be lighting the Light Pyramid in Campbell Park, Milton Keynes.
Residents are being invited to celebrate the event free with The Parks Trust. Ahead of the lighting of the beacon, residents can head to The Milton Keynes Rose to enjoy music from Milton Keynes Brass who will be performing from 9pm as well as a speech from Vice Lord-Lieutenant Alexander Boswell.
Hot drinks and ice-creams will also be available for purchase throughout the event.
