The Parks Trust celebrates 'incredible team' of over 200 volunteers looking over Milton Keynes parks

It's all part of National Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June 2022).

The Parks Trust has taken to social media to celebrate its team of over 200 volunteers, who watch over parks in Milton Keynes.

The Parks Trust is an independent charity that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes. The charity relies on its volunteers to partake in a range of practical tasks across various parks - keeping them beautiful and fun 'to visit.

"We’d like to say a huge thank you to our volunteers this Volunteers Week," The charity wrote.

"We have an incredible team of over 200 volunteers who play a vital role in helping us keep Milton Keynes’ parks beautiful and exciting places to visit. They support our conservation work, carry out litter picks and patrols and help us host our events and outdoor learning activities."

There are lots of volunteer roles for all ages to get involved with, such as litter picks, seed collecting, bulb planting and lots more.
