As the second coronavirus lockdown looms in Milton Keynes, all non-essential retail in the city will be closing its doors until 2nd December.
There has been some confusion as to what 'non-essential' retail is, and so MKFM has compiled a list of the shops that will be closing which you can read by clicking here.
Meanwhile, a number of chain stores have confirmed they will remain open throughout the lockdown in Milton Keynes.
They include:
- B&M
- Screwfix
- Wilko
- Pets At Home
- The Range
- Poundland
- Home Bargains
- Wickes
- Superdrug
- Boots
- B&Q
- Homebase
- Halfords
In addition, all major supermarkets and convenience stores will remain open across the city - as well as garden centres, petrol stations and pharmacies.
Some of the independent stores staying open include:
- Lima Kitchens
- Jardines Pharmacies
