Tesco supermarkets in Milton Keynes support MK Food Bank with generous Christmas donation

With hundreds of veg and other food pieces donated from Tesco Supermarkets, over 110 food boxes have now gone out to local serving centres.

A spokesperson wrote on Facebook: "With special thanks to Katie and Michelle and to the staff and customers at Tesco Wolverton, and Kingston, Milton Keynes stores for their generous food donations to give out to our serving centres this Christmas!

"110 boxes have gone out so far and we're hoping to make up 200 altogether"

With Christmas just days away, these donations are vital to supporting families.

The Food Bank relies entirely on donations of food and money from local schools, churches, businesses, organisations and individuals and every single item or penny given makes a difference.

Businesses, Churches and Community Groups can all get involved helping The Food Bank in a variety of ways.

The MK Food Bank can be accessed by calling their helpline on 0300 303 4933 and speaking to one of their team. Once a voucher is issued, food can be collected from one of eight locations across the city.
