Taco Bell in Milton Keynes sees people queue for hours... but is it worth it?

The reviews for the tex-mex inspired fast food cuisine have been rather mixed, with the restaurant currently ranking 2.6 out of 5 on Google.

It opened in Central Milton Keynes just under two weeks ago (20/10) and has proved incredibly popular. Customers have been spending hours waiting in line for the drive-thru, which in turn has resulted in Taco Bell employing wardens to manage the traffic jams on the surrounding roads.

But despite the popularity, lots of people have taken to social media to criticise the fast food.

MKFM received a message from one resident who shared photographs of her meal, including a burrito and quesadilla, which appeared to have very little filling and next to no meat in it.

Another resident posted on Facebook: "It's the worst meal I have had in 20 years, complete rubbish. I had supreme crunch. If there was a teaspoon of mince in it I would be surprised. Not worth the money. There was loads of lettuce however. No cheese sauce with the nachos."

Taco Bell has generated 2.6 stars out of 5 on Google Reviews. And in the reviews, lots of people have criticised the restaurant for allegedly getting orders wrong.

But amongst the negative reviews are people singing Taco Bell's praises, with one person saying: "Happened to be nearby when they did their opening lunch shift. Had the 2 for £12 meal, it was good value and they got the crunchwrap about right. Pretty good."
