The RSPCA has issued an urgent plea for pet owners to contact them if they are unable to care for their pets.
UPDATE - The RSPCA say that all kittens have now been found.
Seven kittens were found dumped in a carrier bag on an estate in Milton Keynes this morning.
MKFM understands the kittens were found in the Brooklands area.
The kittens have been taken to the emergency vet by the finder to be checked.
"We are hoping the other five pull through," the RSPCA say.
"We ask everyone, if you are this desperate, please make contact with us and we will help.
"There is no need to put any animal at this much risk.
"If you have a mother cat and are looking for help with neutering, contact us.
"If you have kittens you need help with, contact us."
The charity has also urged others, despite this situation, to not leave negative comments.
"In this instance it will not be constructive," the RSPCA says.
